COLOR TRENDS {SPRING 2012}

It's already starting to feel like Springtime in Southern California! I actually don't think Spring ever left us, as the weather here doesn't change too much from the usual 75 degrees and sunny. However the calendar says Spring is growing near, and what better way to welcome the season than changing up your home with the latest spring color trends from PANTONE?

Official PANTONE Spring 2012 Trends

Spring typically means bright colors, which may seem hard to decorate with. Here are some ideas to help you integrate the vibrant colors of Spring into your home, without breaking the bank.

For an instant pop of color, bring in some fresh flowers in the shade of Tangerine Tango. Also, try adding some accessories in the color of Cockatoo, the contrasting colors will make a great statement.

A Cabaret Pink may seem like a tricky color to integrate into your home because of it's feminine flare; however in this case, smaller accents will make the biggest statements. Try changing out your current drapes for drapes in a vibrant Cabaret Pink. This will punch up the color in your home and get you in the mood for Spring and Summer!

A Solar Power yellow is an excellent color to bring in to a room if you are wanting a sunny, summery feel! You can do this by changing up some furniture, such as the chairs in your living room.

Bellflower purple is a great color for Spring as well as a classic color for Easter. The question is how do you style such a color? A purple table cloth and a flower arrangement will add just color to bring in the Spring vibe.

Bring in the bright color of Sodalite Blue with colorful blue dinnerware and serve-ware. You can easily get this look by coordinating different blues together.
