LATEST COLOR OBSESSION {CORAL & TURQUOISE}

Lately, all I have been seeing are the colors coral and turquiose. They are so hot right now! (I couldn't resist the urge to make a Zoolander reference) I feel like they are huge trends right now, and I am loving it! These colors just make me feel happy and I want to use them every where I can! Here are some inspirational finds I love. And a few images I am using as inspiration on a current project! Enjoy!

I actually bought this vase for a good friend of mine, and I was quite jealous of it because I loved it so much! How cute would this look on your table?

If you're looking to add color in your space on a low budget, small accessories are a great way to start.

This is my absolute favorite room, maybe of all time. I love the contrasting colors!

I think this door looks so fresh and bold painted light turquoise.

I hope from all these inspirational finds, I have started a little color obsession in you!

A SPRINGTIME COLOR PALETTE

There is something that is so beautiful about the month of May. The weather is in that perfect in between stage of Spring and Summer temps, and from the rain in April, everything seems so vibrant with color.  Everything seems so perfect, so beautiful. I can't get over how much I am enjoying the colors I am seeing outside, so I made a little color palette for you!

CURRENT PROJECT {LADERA RANCH}

Hello Followers!
I know it's been awhile since I last posted, so I thought I would show you what I has been keeping me busy. I have been helping my boss on this Ladera Ranch family living room project this week. Nothing is finalized yet, we are still in the conceptual design phase. From looking at my sketches and fabric picks you can begin to tell what the room will sort of look like.
(And I apologize for the poor photo quality. These pictures are from my phone.)

Here is a rough fabric board we threw together:

I picked the bottom two groups, and Nathan picked the top two groups.
The top two options are more of a grey-yellow scheme and the bottom two are blue and brown.

I liked this blue lattice design for a few sofa pillows.

Here are some of my sketches of a living room elevation showing different fabrics and window treatments options. All are rough drafts, and need to be completed a little more.

Below are some pictures of inspirational rooms, to help you get an idea for the look we are kind of going for. I do want to point out that we don't use photos like these to copy. There might be an ottoman or an arrangement of mirrors we like from a room and we use those ideas to come up with a completely custom design. Never do we copy an entire room.

So that's one of the handful of projects I am currently helping on. I hope you were inspired by my picks! Also, be sure to check back soon for the end result.

PS. Have a great mother's day weekend!
